Wow, strange that I don't have any reviews here... I could have sworn I posted one when I was staying here regularly 2016-2018 due to its proximity to the federal buildings.

Overall this is a nice older grand dame sort of Westin. Upgrades were scant -- with effort maybe a "junior suite" which is really just a slightly larger corner room. But the regular rooms were fine, and the bar scene was always quite lively. Breakfast at the downstairs place was above average, and I believe I was always given a substantial daily $ credit (maybe $30) that covered my ($10-15) breakfast plus several bottled beverages for the day. I definitely preferred it over the Hilton & the Cincinnatian. I liked the Hyatt better but the extra block or two was not worth it in winter.

Food at Boca, Sotto, Mita's, Nada, and even Via Vite was always great. Good cocktail scene at Igby's. Metropole at the 21c for slightly bougie. Head up to Rheingeist Brewery for some fun times.

I'm flying out of CVG next week -- might actually spend the night downtown rather than by CVG just to eat at Boca again -- it has been too long!
