Some things to consider:

1. The luggage bins on the D/C side are regular-sized, but those on the A side are considerably smaller to match the 1-2 layout, so be aware that whoever is sitting in 1A may be looking to stow their bag over your head if it’s too big for their bin.

2. You won’t be able to stow your backpack underneath the seat in front of you as you’re at the bulkhead, so you’ll need to find space overhead for both pieces of luggage, unless seats are available further back in the cabin and you can select those instead/wish to move.
