New waiver is out but not posted to jetstream yet. Waiver appears to be allowing for rebooking through end of October to any other FL airport UA operates out of if the origin or destination was RSW. Had to be ticketed by 9/28 and for itineraries originally flying thru 10/11
Waiver is now posted: Travel Waiver: Southwest Florida Intl Airport Closure (Sept 29 - October 11, 2022)

New waiver thread created since the waiver extends past the evolution of Ian as a storm system and its immediate impact on UA, its schedules and flights.

Note that this new waiver allows for refunds of even non-refundable tickets.
