You can take any AirTrain from T4 to T8, and the trip will take ~ six minutes once you board. A bus ride from T8 to T1 should take ~ five minutes. Your total travel time will depend upon how frequently the T8-T1 shuttle bus runs.
Last time I rode the AirTrain — I think just a few weeks ago — it served T1 but not T2. Is it correct that T1 is now being served by bus from T8?
