The hotel opened end of May 2022 so is rather new. It is conveniently located to the airport (opposite T1 and a tram ride away (2 stops) from Terminal 2).
You can take the tram into the city - every 8mins and you will be in the city center for EUR1,50 within 20min. The ride to terminals is free of charge.

The hotel is still very new at point of writing so staff is very keen to make a good first impression. Online chat worked well for me.

I asked to get a room towards the airport (which was granted as an upgrade) so I had a great view towards the terminals and the sea (from the 4th floor) which was nice for me as Avgeek.

Room are spacious and of course very new. The pool is nice with plenty of loungers (during my stay there were max 4 people at the same time) and the rooftop is excellent suited for plane spotting towards the apron and runways.

There is also a nice pool on top plus a roof top bar. Breakfast was ok - nothing to write home about - and I had the impression its a better continental breakfast, a little bit disappointing (eggs/ sausages/ cheese/ salami and yoghurts and limited fresh fruits, no international options).

Staff was generally very friendly.

A few minor criticisms:

- I found the pillows to be super soft - too soft for my liking.
- the pool is nice, but practically unattended. I wanted to have a few beers and had to walk all time to the roof top bar to order, otherwise I would have simply left been dry.
- at the breakfast several elites - including myself - received invoices for breakfast despite being included. Staff said they cannot check who has status and who hasn't.

In summary a good stay in a great location for the airport and easily accessible to the center of Nice. Given that the Le Meridien often tends to be rather expensive in peak season, I can recommend this new addition to the portfolio of Marriott hotels in Nice.

Any questions, please reach out.
