Yes. You can
not keep switching back and forward between cabins mid-flight ... but if your intent is to switch seats upon boarding (and stay in those seats for the duration of the flight) then there's no problem at all. Also, Kudos to you.
BTW, someone seated in economy can
not walk up to business class mid-flight to say hello ... but those in business class can always walk back to economy. If they tell the onboard crew what you've done, they might even be allowed to bring you a glass of wine (but I would be sure to get the cabin crew's approval before doing that)
