First Class OW v Business Class OW

Kia Ora from New Zealand!!

Please be patient with my maybe seemingly basic question!!

I am looking to but a OW ticket but not sure if First Class is worth teh extra money as it seems that it can be difficult to actually get a seat on first class ( i have been told that not all first class seats are allocated to OW ticketholders, also, many airlines or journeys do not have first class seats!) .

My itinery looks something like this!

Auckland - Sydney-Tokyo-Hong Kong- Singapore- kula lumpur- Bangkok - Dubai - London ( some of europe too ) - 2 stops in Canda, 3 stops in usa, 3 stops in South America and then Easter Island and back to Auckland!

Is this a viable route?

Would I be better off with a Busness Class Ticket???
