I have a Delta Reserve card with my wife as an AU plus she has her own Delta Platinum. Yes, we pay $965 per year but it is worth it to us. I travel for work plus we take 6-8 vacation per year. Club access is important because a couple of drinks each in airport bars is expensive. But the real value is in the companion certificates. We usually get $1000 value out of my reserve companion ticket flying domestic F. We get another $500+ value out of her platinum companion ticket because we make me (PM) the primary and get at least C+ for main price.
