I have a paid J ticket so I will be in front of the plane LAX-PHL. I guess the connection is legal otherwise AA wouldn't ticket.
Called AA to try to switch to an earlier LAX-PHL flight but the agent said she can only book me in coach for LAX-PHL on the earlier flight (for more money!) even though I can see front cabin inventory on Expertflyer. Very strange. I guess it has something to do with the ticketing class on the TATL portion. I will just stick with it for now.
My exact routing is bookable on AA.com too with 37 min connection. In fact, it is the first choice. I thought maybe the bot joined some illegal hidden city pair to get this routing with short connection time but evidently it is just a regular published AA schedule.
