The resort immediately charged my Aspire card (on file) a 1 night deposit which triggered the AmEx Resort credit. I ended up canceling the reservation a month or 6 weeks later, Doubletree quickly credited the deposit back to my Aspire card, Amex did not claw back the Resort credit.
