Arriving from an international destination and transiting to a domestic flight does not give you access to the golden lounge/platinum room. Yes there has been anecdotal evidence that people did get in but this is malaysia and it all depends how you talk with people. Once a decision was made by the staff they would not change their mind as that would mean losing face.
You can still try the international lounge at the main terminal building, that is still nicer than the domestic lounge.

Hello Globalist, I disagree with this. Oneworld policy is that as long as you have a Oneworld departure MH boarding pass (be it domestic or international), OWEs will have access to the Golden/Platinum lounge. If one with OWE status arrives from an international destination on any flights and transiting to a MH operated domestic flights - as long as you have enough time to hang around at the KUL Satellite Terminal, this person will be able to access the Golden/Platinum lounge.
