I have to say, I'm not at all impressed with SAS's (in)ability to refund a simple refundable ticket. As I
mentioned upthread, I cancelled a couple of refundable tickets over a month ago. No sign of a refund on either of the tickets, nor on a friend's from roughly the same time.
I spent 3:40 waiting for a response from the online chat a couple of weeks ago. When I finally got through, the woman I talked to told me the tickets had "fallen out" of the queue for refunds and she would put them back in, with the same expected 5 business days for processing.
After 10 business days, I wasn't going to spend another 4 hours waiting to talk to someone else from SAS just to give me the same nonsense. I gave up and just did a chargeback with Amex.
