I have read the news articles and found them to be not representative of my experience flying this year. I think they just find interesting things to point cameras at that may not represent the average flyer’s experience. Certainly not the average elite flyer’s experience.

I’ve had no issues this year with check in, security, lounges, boarding, customs, or priority baggage claiming until this most recent flight. Clearly people’s luggage on this flight was arriving as well given the 100+ bags that came out ahead of mine. The issue was one of priority bags not being handled properly.

Edit: I should note that I don’t fly Domestic or Transborder. So when I recount my experiences, I do so while recognizing that those flying these types of flights may have been more likely to experience issues. I am referring to flying internationally.
