A-List vs CP: which is more valuable?

Not sure I’ll do it since we have found that while CP is great, we haven’t used it to the full potential because my companion wants to re-qualify for his A List status so he ended up just buying most of his flights on his own.
That seems silly. CP is exponentially more valuable than A-List. Especially since your companion automatically gets checked in with the CP pass holder and a great position. When/if your companion is flying alone, the savings from being CP more be much much more than occasionally splurging for Early Bird Check In.
