Cool. By sheer luck, I was able to snag a table reservation a few days ago in one of the big tents for the last Saturday of Oktoberfest, so I went ahead and booked Fri-Mon here. Will be in party mode, so seems like a good fit. Walking distance from Wiesn is the real sell, but I enjoy having an "oasis" of nice fixtures to come back to after sweating and drinking. Other similarly priced option was Le Meridien (which has the bonus of being near the Sofitel where some of the rest of my group is staying and is about the same distance from Wiesn) but this place looks more fun. Good breakfast also crucial before beer days.

I emailed the hotel a couple of questions about my table reservation and they were quick, friendly, and responsive -- another great sign. Excited to check it out.
