As much as I like 1K, I prefer 1A slightly more. Because it is closer to the lavatory in the corridor behind the curtain in front of you. When in 1K, you need to go through the galley full of food and drinks, and it can be awkward. Nevertheless, these are the best seats.
By the way, has the chef on board service been discontinued? There wasn't any chef on board of my OS VIE-BKK flight. Just regular FA service. The coffee menu was very short, and it used to be so extensive in the past.
