Today (7.12.2022) I received email notifications for two Chase statements which were generated on 7.3.2022. This suggests some system problem, but in my case the statements were generated on the correct date.
Today I received a statement email for an account that actually closed on 6/27 (as scheduled). Indeed there seems to be some problem, but if the OP’s next closing date is in the past, perhaps contacting customer service is the best option.
