If you’re neither very round or very long and just want a good rest then Q-Suites are probably better. If you want to stay up eating caviar and vintage champagne, then travel first.
I have another pet peeve regarding F on the A380. It is all good and well, with one exception: in the joint in the seat where the segment that support joins the seat there are to pretty solid metal joints just under the seat pillow. These pillows are getting soft after many years of use and these metal joints are very uncomfortable to have just behind my knees.
If there are many free seats in J I much prefer to travel in J on the A380.
