"clear the kitchen" stew always works for me when I need to clear a shelf or two... Beans, lots of frozen vegetables, mushrooms, potatoes, chilli mix or whatever tomato-based sauce... Some sort of thickening agent... A few minutes before I want to tuck in, drop in the protein... Ladle some over a bed of rice or pasta.
If I'm having a lazy weekend, I'll break out my second one and make some soup too... Although that one is a different affair...
