So United has advised me to contact Chase (this is a MP Visa), and report as fraud. It's not...the email receipt is from
[email protected], and the credit card charge is from United, just like all other purchases from them.
I'm in absolute shock. Unacceptable that they can charge someones credit card and not find record of it a day later.
You should be like me and remove your credit cards on file with all companies/entities. You'll never have a problem then. I recently had my one of my credit card numbers misused multiple times before I caught it. They did an investigation and told me that it was stolen from
Amazon's system. Then, just a couple of months ago, another one of my CC numbers was stolen from a state Tollway system, either NY, NJ or MD.
Chase told me that you should no longer leave card numbers on file anywhere because these breeches were increasing.
