Wow. We pay for that separate power grid so you guys should use it! The “duty” is for TEPCO customers not the general public where they don’t overlap.

Thats my opinion at least.

And yeah, this is MISERABLE and only June! Makes me want to cut and bail on Japan for the entire summer. I like your plan. Come back when it’s over. There’s a reason why many people live in California. My place over there is sitting unused like yours over here. Hope I turned off the AC…. Lol
