i dont think this has been covered in the wiki
I am SE wiki says i can upgrade the following (yourself + one person on the same PNR + travel companion). I booked LHR-YYC for three of us on same PNR in Latitude. R space is 4 but cant upgrade all three of us. So i Split the PNR and upgraded two of us. What does travel campanion mean (i think it means day of departure they go on upgrade list if i request?).
An idea i have is make a second booking for myself and my friend. Request upgrades for both of us. Confirm then split the PNR and cancel my flight. Would that bypass the system and maintain his upgraded seat?
