JAL has not confirmed its schedule to Taiwan in Aug. Current schedule only valid till 31JUL, and it is true North America-NRT-Taiwan is quite impossible before then on JL. Check https://www.jal.co.jp/jp/en/info/2022/inter/220801_06/ for updates.
