I don't know for certain as I've not tried it but I would say you'd have a reasonable case at requesting a change on that specific route. You'd have more chance if your aircraft has been changed from CS to the older style since you booked it. It might be a stretch to request an AA operated aircraft. Why not call BA and report back here with what you find out...
