I figured out the charge. I realized there was a ticket number on the credit card statement, and when I looked up the number, the description listed is "priority." Considering my wife and daughter were both boarding group 5 on the flight out and boarding group 5 on the return home yesterday (when there was no priority fee charged to the credit card), I have to assume American will refund these charges.
