I'm not seeing any activity in her Aadvantage account that looks like such a purchase.

Looking at Aadvantage activity, I do see the following posted two days after her flight:

Citi Aadvantage Business Bonus for AA Purchase
Award Miles 48
Base Miles 0
Bonus miles 48
Loyalty Points 0

But I'm guessing that the above is because she spent $47.50 on American for the checked bags so she's getting some kind of bonus.
