precisely. You call LX to get a seat on LX-op flights and you use united.com for UA operated flights. Works all the time.

"The same flight on SWISS.com" - so it doesn't work "all the time". It actually never worked since Oct.
My ticket was UA stock and my UA flights connected onward to LH and LX respectively.
