Stay Report - 5/31 to 6/1
Location: The Sheraton Music City is located on the west side of the Nashville Airport. It's in a sleepy area near a few office parks but if you drive about a mile you'll get to Donelson Pike which has a number of restaurants, gas stations, fast food places and other hotels.
Hotel: The hotel is a sprawling property which feels pretty dated outside and inside but the service make up for it. Self parking is $15/day and valet is $21/day. There's a large lobby with a business center in it, bar and restaurant which stays open late, Sheraton Club on the first floor (currently open thankfully) and a lot of meeting space. There are only two elevators but I never encountered waits.
Check In: An extremely friendly agent checked me in and told me I'd been upgraded to a junior suite. She also gave me welcome amenity points and said that I could also have the buffet breakfast as well as club access if I wanted.
Room: As is typical of a junior suite it's just a longer room. There was a large living room area with a big couch and a desk behind it along with a kitchen area with a coffeemaker and two bottles of water. The bed was comfortable and there were outlets next to it. The bathroom was a bit small but there was a balcony.
Lounge: The lounge is open weekdays for breakfast and evening appetizers. Breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal and breads and fruit. Service in there was wonderful.
I really liked my stay here. I felt the elite treatment was perfect and every staff member I dealt with was friendly and helpful.
