Agreed - but other than the automatic 50k status for all card holders, I'm not seeing any other real benefit...if you received a "3-level bump" (from Aeroplan basic to 50k) from your earned status that might be a different story. Reading Page 33 of the PDF, I'm not sure if that is what is being referenced.
