Refund of return flight (international, starting in EU)
Hello,
This might be a basic/stupid question for many of you (sorry, never requested a refund before). Can I receive a refund for the unused return flight? Outbound AMS-DTW, return DTW-AMS.
Long story: I'm planning on moving to the US (from Europe) this summer. Hence I'm looking at AMS-DTW flights. I'm not sure if and when I'll fly the return flight from the US to Europe (may well be more than 12 months after outbound). One-way AMS-DTW tickets are significantly more $ than return flights, hence I prefer a roundtrip ticket If I decide not to take my return flight (ie DTW-AMS), can I receive a refund (minus 150E I guess, based on https://www.delta.com/us/en/baggage/...travel_changes). Does it matter if I book an Economy Basic, non-refundable, or refundable fare?
