We're just seeing the fallout now.
I'm not sure what their track record is, either. I'm Cathay Diamond and tried doing another match through Statusmatch.com and it simply just keeps rejecting my application and giving no reason. Then their Support wanted me to send in my passport to them.
They claim they have automated "fraud detection" but they couldn't verify a status I held for years and wanted me to send in personal documents, which makes no sense. Anyone with GDS access can verify if an airline status is active through a simple command.
