No; one doesn't. Aside from being plenty of consumable rooms available in close proximity (in newer properties without the life safety issues that seem like they may be present reading between the lines of some of the court filings) it was discussed during the master planning process that the utility of an on-airport hotel at a non-hub airport is very liminted -- people don't go to an airport to stay at its hotel, they go to an airport for a specific destination which likely has a closer hotel. D, as also discussed in this thread during the master planning, is functionally obsolete and has no place in the future airport design.
