i dont understand the need for same reason you said, and because it only tells you about 20% of the world of earning LPs. I assume the website doesnt calculate that bc it'd be WAYY more programming and it's all over the board.
Those are much more straightforward though. Like Motley Fool says 7400 LP, you get 7400 LP. As Sephora offers 4 points per dollar, you get 4xyour spend in LP (slightly off due to taxes and stuff, but it would be more work to key all this in someplace just to basically get 4x your spend).
For special fares and partners, you can definitely do the math, but it's easier to just punch it in and get the number as opposed to pulling up each partner's posting page and checking.
I find value. I'm glad that it was made.
