You MUST book thru MGM in order to get resort fee waived (as only at MGM it would showed you as gold after you logged in, booking at Hyatt won't show your MGM status), then at check in you need to verify with them that your Hyatt number is in the system, as at Excalibur and at the Mirage when I checked in, they have to enter my Hyatt number manually
