Just did this trip a few weeks ago.

Flew ATL to AMS to KWI to DXB and then spent a few days in DXB and enjoyed Emirates Business Class down to MLE. On the way back went DXB to CDG to ATL.

Check your transfer from MLE to your resort. We stayed at the Park Hyatt and it was $650 per person and have had similar at other resorts we've stayed at there in the past.

Emirates experience was fantastic, pick up at the hotel, speedy check-in and the lounges in DXB are world class as is the service on the airline. Puts the Big 3 in the US to shame.
