Apparently DL told SBA officials that they don't have enough pilots to restart SLC-SBA this year, but are hoping for early summer 2023. Hopefully, DL is not stringing them along and hopefully its not just wishful thinking from SBA officials. Either are possible. It would be nice if they could either restart that route or add SBP to fill the gap between BUR and SJC.
I was just about to reply on this. This is the bigger issue. It's also why in some cases bigger planes are being used than otherwise needed.
