This leaves JAC and CPR as the only Wyoming cities served by Delta. United serves 9 different cities in Wyoming from Denver.
Shows just how much weaker the SLC hub is than DEN.
no it doesn't. It shows that Delta is getting out the CRJ-200 business, and that SkyWest can't staff airplanes.
and its even worse now that Delta has had to put 10-15 OO CR2s on CBA flying to cover for the CBA Endeavor CR2 that Endeavor can't staff.

Also United is a lot more willing to keep 50 seaters going than Delta is. Delta's executive team has been saying for years they want the airplane gone, yes even the at risk stuff, for brand consistency.
You are going to continue to see 50 seat markets drop off. Staffing is only going to get worse for the regionals and markets like DRO, GJT, COD just don't drive enough revenue to keep them in the system by sending 68/76 seaters.

Hopefully, DL is not stringing them along and hopefully its not just wishful thinking from SBA officials. Either are possible. It would be nice if they could either restart that route or add SBP to fill the gap between BUR and SJC.
it is 100% the issue. As i said above, its going to get worse and Delta now has OO covering 9E CR2 flying because 9E can't find the pilots. IIRC its mostly MSP/DTW flying.
and with legacies ramping hiring back up in a post COVID world (plus airlines like B6/AS/NK/F9 etc) you'd be pretty foolish to stay around at a regional. (not to mention the cargo carriers as well)
