Yes it should fit right in there. Use a warn water setting and a gentle cycle. Probably under the circumstances, it would be best to go with a double rinse and Fabreeze Odor-Eliminating Fabric Softener. Don't forget to pretreat the soiled areas (for best results let the pretreat soak in for 10 minutes before washing).
