Not the exact answer the OP is seeking, but I've sometimes brought an inflatable footrest with me on longer flights. It was handy when I flew to SYD in economy in the exit row.

haha I’ve seen these!! And the hammock type ones. Most of my economy travel is shorter domestic so I’d feel weird bringing anything like that one, but more than a few hours in economy and I don’t think I’d care…
have you seen/tried those inflatable like forward head rest things that you put on your tray table? they look SO much dorkier than the one you linked but I guess comfort is comfort… hahah
