Flight went J1 today and I was able to snag it so I'll get to ride up front on this flight. Ended up just rebooking the flight and used a a bunch of "Pay with Miles" to keep the cash cost down.
Trying to be better about using the miles since I have a decent stash and they will only continue to devalue.
Were you able to book it as separate tickets? I saw you could do this with just over a 1 hour "connection" in BOS between the LGA-BOS and BOS-SFO flight.
No issues with booking separate tickets; it's only how much risk I am willing to tolerate
(only the 6am flight would get me there to make the "connection"; I could also get a ticket on B6 as a fall back - 6:15am departure)
