Consider switching to cash back. Not simple but lucrative.

We’ve amassed a stable of 5x cards

2x Freedom
2x Freedom Flex
2x Custom Cash
2x Shop Your Way
1x Discover It (we alternate signups yearly to always have 10% offers around)
1x US Bank Cash+
1x Chase Ink Cash
1x Altitude Reserve
1x Altitude Go
1x Fidelity Visa

Order of use is:
Shop Your Way on a statement credit promotion
Discover It 10% category
US Bank Cash+/Chase Ink for utilities/internet
5x freedom/freedom flex/custom cash where appropriate
Altitude Reserve for contactless non-bonused and travel
Fidelity Visa for non bonused, no contactless
Altitude Go for months where we spend over $500 on restaurants (rare)

I have a bevy of AMEX cards (2x platinum, gold, 2x EDP) that are all on retention but they’ll be jettisoned/downgraded once the AF hits.
