Unless the OP has tons of luggage, they should be able to walk between the terminal (C) and the Hyatt Regency. It might require going through a parking garage...but a shuttle shouldn't be required.
The Grand Hyatt is right in D, and much easier to access; you don't even need to go outside.
Of course much depends on which gate the OP is arriving into...as checked luggage (if any) will normally be delivered to an area near that gate. So if arriving at A or B with luggage, you'd want to get a shuttle.
If no luggage, you can use the airside train to go among the terminals.
