Update on the GVA fraud:
Sixt won't budge. They did finally send photos of damage. Most of it definitely was not there when I dropped off the car. There is damage which I have no recollection of causing, but I admit that I did not look underneath the car to inspect for damage during pickup or drop-off. More likely that not, this was caused by Sixt moving the car around their lot (drop-off location was a tight underground garage). It looks like this will be going to my credit card company as an insurance claim.

This is pretty disappointing. Now that it is clear that fraud is just an ordinary part of Sixt's daily operations, this will conclude my relationship with Sixt.

Mods: I don't mean to muddy this thread with my own report from a different city, but I also don't want to fill the forum with a new thread. So, I'll reply here but am happy to move to a new thread if that's better.
