Hard product: Emirates has the more enclosed suite.

Food: Emirates has the least consistent quality food (watching this
culinary disaster). Qatar was the best consistency.
Equipment swap: All 3 are particularly bad, especially for downgrading. But Emirates at least a similar First class offering in across most of their fleet.
Extras: Emirates chauffeur. Qatar can use the BA First Wing at LHR T5 (for the moment).
My order of preference:
EK > TG > EY > QF > BA/AA F for on board soft and hard product.
I am yet to fly QR F, but it’s on the list.
I rate QF F’s Lounge the highest. Most pax don’t know that QF will have a F Host and Porter meet you kerbside, escort you to check in, to the lounge and then pre board you. They do the same in other ports except the kerbside service. The spa is very special. On board, QF does not excite me.
While EY do not provide an escort, however
I love their F Lounge and the Residence Lounge. Arabs understand food should be plentiful, while other airlines seem to have small menus.
TG also provides escorts but their F Lounge is very basic. I appreciate their massage and sauna offering, but never used it.
I do not enjoy EK’s F Lounge. Obviously they carry more F pax than anyone else. I find the lounge cavernous and impersonal. That said, whether by ops or by luck, during right connections we’ve often found our aircraft parked within close vicinity of each other.
I do not understand the obsession with BA’s CCR. The most interesting thing about it is the ‘million dollar door.’ When you walk in and see pax sleeping all over the couches as well as the small menus and cabanas that look like hospital rooms, you wonder what all the fuss is about.
I used to hate AA, however on my last few sectors they made me like them. Some escorts were provided, but the cabin is too open for my liking. I recall having to explain to an FA what a Charcuterie Board was…
Alcohol doesn’t matter much to me, I drink Grey Goose and not wine. Of course this is all my personal opinion and everyone will vary.
