My 2c (and as disclosure: I fly much more in J than in F but I have had 2 F flights in 2022 so far):
Crew: In both Business and First I have had excellent service 80 to 90% of the time. Least likely to get good service is in J on the 380. If what this Josh guy says is true, he has had very bad luck. It's possible.
Food: On a 5 hour overnight flight, the offering is often less substantial than on longer flights which actually incorporate meal times. I can live with that, but I accept that others find it a non-F experience. On a recent F flight, the actual offering was very different from what 'what's on my flight' had suggested. The offering was time appropriate but I was surprised by caviar being offered as a 'light bite'...

. Generally, F catering is not that impressive: same as J with one or two additional choices and a (much) better presentation. The 'dine on demand' option is great for me. I know QR do it in J.
The wines are much better though, certainly EK's strong point. Josh has no idea about wines: 'the chateau was impressive'. Come off it

. Not offered more wine is unusual, my experience is that I have to fight off the suggestion of more refills.
If he had only looked next to his right knee he would have found the headphones (like the man in 2E had).
I distrust reviews by people who find it necessary to use the words 'First Class' in every second sentence.
I personally think he is a twit. Won't subscribe, have plenty EK note books (and pens, even the old model...)
