As noted by previous posters, my favorite seats on the 737-900 are 5C/D. It’s nice to recline and not have to worry about impacting anyone behind you.

Everything else is the same. The only changing factor in the calculus here is if it’s a meal flight at which point maybe being in the middle of the cabin is preferred so you’re covered whether the FAs start meal service orders from the front or the back.
