I agree. It's now cheaper and easier for me to fly from Brisbane or the Gold Coast to Singapore than it is to Christchurch.

Back almost 10 years ago I'd cross the Tasman so frequently on NZ801 and NZ804 that I got to know many of the Christchurch based crew. Sadly those days are gone and instead we end up with a mixture of weird times or worse still a transit through Sydney or Auckland.
