Given there is now almost unlimited travel between New Zealand and Australia, when will the airlines ramp up their schedules again. There are now multiple days with literally zero seats available ex-SYD. I'm sure NZ and QF are getting a nice premium for the tickets they have sold, but wouldn't they make more money by putting more aircraft in the sky? I agree. It's now cheaper and easier for me to fly from Brisbane or the Gold Coast to Singapore than it is to Christchurch.
Back almost 10 years ago I'd cross the Tasman so frequently on NZ801 and NZ804 that I got to know many of the Christchurch based crew. Sadly those days are gone and instead we end up with a mixture of weird times or worse still a transit through Sydney or Auckland.
