What a parallel universe. I called the ICC Platinum concierge looking to find 3 general admission tickets to a particular Maroon 5 show not in the UK/U.S./Europe that was sold out (except for the most expensive ticket type, which was fine by us, but not our friends). Literally instant answer with no wait at all, and the concierge called back with his findings about an hour later as promised. He then emailed a summary of our call and the options as soon as he hung up. Heck, we even chatted about life in general for about 10 minutes (sentiments about travel, mask mandates on planes and his recent flight experience in BA Club Europe, a few general questions about how the concierge operates...). I really liked how he was a "real person" and not overly formal and robotic. I assume the ICC team is the same as the regular UK Platinum team?

I then repeated the same exercise with the U.S. Platinum concierge. About a 15 minute wait on hold, then a very robotic (although pleasant) person tried to help me. The best she could offer was a response by this coming Wednesday 6PM EST (and this call was on Friday, so 5 day turnaround time, not impressive).

I'd be pretty upset too if I had a U.S. Centurion.
