One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in Italy, plus the table service for cappuccino was excellent. Sounds like this has been reduced during covid, shame. Complimentary for Diamonds.
The water shuttle to St Mark’s was also very convenient. Hope it gets back to normal in May for most. IMO, I would not stay here if the water shuttle is not on a normal schedule.
The executive lounge is a nice touch but certainly not worth it.
Hi
I used the hotel water shuttlebus usually in the evening ( after a drink in the lounge) bu ususally used the ACTV vaporetto ( 7min walk to the stop) with a weekly travel pass ( I recon the pass saved 50%) as it was more convenient in the mornings. I I used the lounge daily in August ( as after a morning sightseeing in the warm weather, i went back to the hotel for a swim in the pool ( preboooked time slot in Aug 2020) then relaxed then it was evening snacks in the lounge then the shuttle to see Venice during the golden hour and dusk before returning. Lounge probably not worth it but given the lack of lounges in the UK at that time , I was grateful it was open and itwas good for afternoon coffee/soft drink and pre dinner snack.
