i've cancelled recently in March and then earlier In January with both previously used/refunded Travel Bank credits. The Travel Bank credits were extended two years from the date of cancellation in both cases. The latter used a companion fare too.

The last case the Westjet system seems to have finally caught-up with this century and everything was refunded almost instantaneously including the restored Companion voucher.
